With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lou Powell of Stony Plain, Alberta, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by:, Edwin Beggs, Donna Empey and Kathy Ramage. She is survived by: her siblings, Ken Beggs, David Beggs, Rick Beggs and Peggy [Jim] Hooper; her children, Doreen Stanton, Robert Desilets (Ryan), Patricia Desilets Pennock [Greg], Kaylin, Desiree-Benson, Daxton, Grayson, Reagan and Dan [Tammy] Desilets; and her stepchildren, Kris [Christine] Powell, Shela [Jay] Hughson, Alysia, Ken, Brantley, Wyatt, Travis [Jacqueline], Mathieu [Angela] Powell and Greg Powell (Ella). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
