He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Rider; his parents, Jack Rider and Alma Rider; his sister Orlene Cire; his parents-in-law, Meryle Chinn and Julian Chinn; and his stepmother-in-law Lorraine Chinn.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Sorensen (Red), Nancy Rider, Jane Rider and Murray Rider (Marylou Macasa); his grandchildren, Breann Sorensen, Mykayla Sorensen (Jesse Anderson), Morgan, Jessie Sorensen, Mackenzie Sorensen, Baileigh Sorensen, Willow Sorensen, McKenna Rider, Kaileb Rider, Gracia Pelle, Anekin Pelle and Damaris Pelle; his sisters, Vivian Fodor (Otto) and Betty Rider; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Chinn and Faye Chinn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
