He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Cardinal; his grandparents, Gabriel, Aldina, James, Katherine Cardinal and Gabe Cardinal "Solid Kid"; his siblings, Dennie, Dennis and Faye; his nephew Merle; and his aunts and uncles, Donald Cardinal, Ronnie Cardinal, Henry Cardinal, Arthur Lajimodiere, Lloyd Mason, Elsie Whitstone, Sandra Cardinal, Cora Whitford and Delia Quinney.
He is survived by: his mother Muriel Cardinal; his siblings, Arlene (Jack), Wanda, Donna (Luke), Connie (Steve), Ruby and Ronnie Cardinal; his aunt Virginia; and his uncles, James Cardinal and Terry Cardinal. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
