He was predeceased by: his daughter Monique; his parents, Jacques and Martha; and his brother-in-law Ben McMillan. He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his children, Viv Lamothe (Larry) and Roger (Natalie); his grandchildren, Jocelynne (Sebastien), Renée (Danny), Travis (Samantha), Ashley (Wade), Zachery, Dylan and Miranda; and his siblings, Louise Plante (Roger), Yolande McMillan, Denise Zellweger (Ron), Suzanne Robinson, Diane Schlachter (Ken), Doris Bodnar (Ted) and Pierre (Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
