He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Robertson and Vera Robertson; his parents-in-law, Bill and Lil Tait; and his siblings, Laurie and Mona.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his daughters, Marnie (Manfred), Christy (Shadi) and Amy (Yanik); his grandchildren, McKenna, Adam, Niya, Sophia, Ben and Jack; his siblings, Bruce (Olga), Gary (Gen), Pat, Sheila (Walter), Alice (Eugene), Marie (Louie) and Nancy (Bryan); and his siblings-in-law, Murray (Jeannie), Curtis (Colleen) and Joan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
