With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon L'Hirondelle (St Paul, Alberta), who passed away on January 15, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Chantel Jerome and Leon Shawn Steinhauer; his parents, Irene Cardinal and Stanley L'Hirondelle Sr.; and his brother Kurt Takakinaw.
He is survived by: his common-law partner Doris Steinhauer; his son Sheldon Steinhauer; his stepchildren, Miranda "Holly" Steinhauer, Rebecca Lynn Steinhauer (Cody Powder) and Drayton James Steinhauer; his grandson Jermaine Jerome; and his siblings, Evelyn "Kate" Marie Cardinal, Faedra Theresa Ann Steinhauer (Alvin), Sharon Lee Mary L'Hirondelle and Stan Francis L'Hirondelle (Amy). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
