He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Steve Hyshka and Lily Huxted. He is survived by: his children, Kyla Lily Cardinal and Kayden Cardinal; his stepchildren, Shawn Cardinal, Rylan Omeasoo, Parry Cardinal and Dylan Omeasoo; his stepgrandson Wesley; his parents, Carol Platz and Ron Platz; his siblings, Jennifer Abbas (AJ) and Dustin Platz (Amber); his nieces and nephews, Larissa Yaceyko (Reggie), Anna, Aubrey Abbas, Miley and Bryson Platz; his great-niece Ivy (Lincoln Yaceyko); and his grandparents, Clayton and Lorraine Platz.
