She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; her parents, Joe Schurek and Emma Schurek; her brother Lloyd (Victoria); and her brother-in-law Reg Tews.

She is survived by: her children, Perry (Sandy), John (Sandy) and Trina Hladchuk (Willie); her grandchildren, Jordan (Tracy), Kimberly (Lyle), Chance, Jayson, Dylan (Cheyenne) and Kurtlin; her great grandchildren, Sadie, Addy, Macy Jo, Lane and Ava; her sister Janice Tews; her half-brother Terry Scott; and her niece Lori Stokes. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
