He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; his parents, Adélard and Hélène; his siblings, Jean-Marie and Bibianne Tarasiuk; and his brothers-in-law, Barney Weir and Mike Marcichiw.
He is survived by: his sons, Denis (Chantel) of St. Paul, Louis of Calgary and Marcel (Linda) of Sherwood Park; his grandchildren, Dustin (Sarah), Jovan, Brandon (Alyssa), Cody (Ashley), Roisin (Miller), Andrès, Denis (Madi) and Teisha (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Rafaël and Olivia; his siblings, Roger (Barbara), Gisele Weir, Gerald (Gloria), Lucille Marcichiw and Andre (Helena); and his brother-in-law Nick Tarasiuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
