She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Amable and Monique Amable; her siblings, Mary Piche (Ernest), Alphonse Amable (Bernice), Gordon Amable (Sylvester Amable) and Baby Thomas Desjarlais; and her brother-in-law Bill Evans.
She is survived by: her husband Claude Desjarlais; her children, Wesley Amable of Edmonton, Cheryl Amable (Aaron) of Cold Lake, Shermayna Desjarlais of Edmonton and Claude Jr. Desjarlais; her grandchildren, Brooklynne Desjarlais, Jereden Herman, Chloe Tse, Joshua Amable and Addison Fitzgerald; her great grandchildren, Kasha Desjarlais and Kora Desjarlais; and her sisters, Ann Charland (Roderick) of Cold Lake, Sue Evans of Cold Lake and Jenni Piche (Raymond) of Cold Lake.
