He was predeceased by: his father Verner Jahns; and his stepparents, Addy Jahns and Malcolm Paton. He is survived by: his mother Kay Paton; his daughter Katelynn Barfreider (Jason); his grandchildren, Grayson, Ari and Noah Barfreider; his siblings, Dale Paton (Shawna), Derek Paton (Naomi), William Jahns and Patricia St (Shawn); his nephews, Malcolm and Liam Paton; and his niece Nevaeh St. Laurent. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
