He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Blanchette and Mathilda Blanchette; and his siblings, Germaine Joly, Germain "Gerry" Blanchette, Evangeline Charest, Eugene Blanchette, Evelyn Blanchette and Elize Chychul.
He is survived by: his sister Jean O'Hara. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
