He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bamson and Kathleen Bamson; his brothers, Larry, Lyle and William; and his grandparents, William, Laura Bamson of Lloydminster, Alex Quinney and Ina Platz.
He is survived by: his close friend Vicki Potskin; his children, Nathaniel, Dillion, Ethan, Avry, Jacob, Adrianna and Mariah; his adoptive daughter Janet; his grandchildren, Pheonix, Riley, Lexie and Michael; his siblings, Jo-Anne and Terry; and his nephews, Shawn and James.
