With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Scott Denis of Spruce Grove, Alberta, who passed away on February 9, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandmother Etta Nolan; his brother Robbie Denis; his mother Marian Denis; his parents-in-law, Ken and Jane Unland; his siblings-in-law, Jon Cairns, Phil Unland and Maureen Unland; his aunt Shirley Balderston; and his uncle Wayne Nolan.

He is survived by: his wife Lorna Denis; his children, Bailey Lyzenga (Cody) and Sheldon Denis (Chantell); his grandchildren, Adalyn, Graham Denis, Aurora and Lyzenga; his sisters, Shaunna Denis and Paula Cairns; his siblings-in-law, Dale Unland (Ella), Walter Unland (Fern) and Linda Fiveland (Derrill); his aunt Gloria Nolan; and his uncle Ken Balderston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
