It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Anthony Labate (Spruce Grove, Alberta), who passed away on August 31, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Labate and John Labate; and his brother Donald Labate (Marie). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Rob and Lisa Nicholetts (Jason); his grandson Brayden; his daughter Marissa Portelance (David); his grandchildren, Sophia and Alex; his siblings, Donna Fortes (Larry) and Perry Labate (Debbie); his foster sister Suzanne Weir (Kevin); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Kennelly and Stephen Fenton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to: Pilgrims Hospice Society 9808 148 Street NW Edmonton, AB T5N 3E8.
