He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Wagner and Christine Wagner; and his brothers, Erwin (Marie), Lawrence (Deanna) and Walter.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Wagner (MacDougall); his children, Mark Wagner (Aline) and Jennifer Sultanian (Rick); his grandchildren, Curtis Wagner (Beth), Nathan Wagner, Jack Sultanian, Reid Sultanian and Kate Sultanian; his brother Arthur (Angeline); and his siblings-in-law, Garry MacDougall (late Helen), Roger MacDougall and Heather MacDougall (late Ron).
