He was predeceased by: his father Jerome Schan; and his stepfather Robert Prest. He is survived by: his wife Temple; his children, Carter and Sophia; his mother Vera Prest; and his siblings, Ashley Prest (Doug Lunney), Terry Prest (Tamara), Carmen Steinke (Kelvin), Paul Hersey (Michelle) and Trent Van Lersberghe (Kelly Martin).
