As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Albina may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her husband Victor; her parents, Nick Dowhaniuk and Mary Dowhaniuk (Sharun); and her brothers, Victor Dowhaniuk (Kaye) and Larry Dowhaniuk (Sophie).

She is survived by: her children, Darlene Cavanaugh, Brian Pasemko (Nancy), Randy Pasemko (Charlaine) and Kathy Meaney (Brian); her sister Liz Rakach (Al); and her sister-in-law Lorna Pasemko. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church (200 Veterans Blvd, Spruce Grove, AB T7X3T3). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Michael's Cemetery (13819 82 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5E2X6).
