He is survived by: his wife Donna; his grandchildren, Diane Kohnor (Randy) and Spenser; his children, Darren (Kristi), Jensen and Kalvin (Melanie); and his siblings, Hans (Carol), Alfred (Milly) and Helga. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
