He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richards and Vera Richards (Rose). He is survived by: his wife Annie Bondar; his children, Alwyn Richards (Sylvia), Byron Richards, Janice Lucas (Rob) and Shannon Desfosses (Steve); his grandchildren, Alison Richards, Andrew Richards, Kathleen Wheeler, Sean Wheeler (Lisa), Stefan Wheeler and Kyle Desfosses; and his brothers, David Richards (Joan) and Michael Richards. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Forbes Presbyterian Church (9635 76 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB T8V5B3).
