She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Brian Cherniwchan; her granddaughter Serena Mykytiuk; her siblings, John, Lena, Annie, Mary, Helen, Nancy and Nick; her parents, Katrina Bogdan (Ratzoy) and Andrew Bogdan; and her husband Mike Mykytiuk.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Sparling (Suzanne), Penny Cherniwchan (Jude MacLean), Gerald Mykytiuk (Cathy), Leslie Mykytiuk (Karen Pedlar) and Tom Mykytiuk (Brenda); her grandchildren, Jarrett Mykytiuk (Jackie), Caitlin Whitson (Connor), Aaron Cherniwchan, Alisha Bate (Nelson), Ethan Mykytiuk (Eleanor), Zachary Sparling, Veronica Mykytiuk and Michael Mykytiuk; and her great grandchildren, Elliana, Arlo, Grace, Oscar, Eli and Loretta. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.
