It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie (Shapka) Chibuk (Smoky Lake, Alberta), who passed away on March 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband John; her parents, Harry Shapka and Marena Shapka; and her siblings, Kate Repka, George and Willie Shapka.
She is survived by : her children, John (Marion), Donna (Doug), Michael (Mary), Noreen and Susan (Richard); her grandchildren, Lara, Marna (Jamie), Taylor (Patrick), Justine (Josh), John David (Vanessa), Jason (Amber), Thea (Douglas), John Patrick (Heather), Simon and Todd; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Elise, Victoria, Michael, Nicholas, Hayley, Charlotte, Liam and James; her brother Harry Shapka; and her sister-in-law Muriel Shapka. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
