He is survived by: his children, Sharena, Drandin (Devonte), Deja and John; his granddaughter Leigha Sitting Eagle; his siblings, Anthony Sitting Eagle (Audrey), Jim Brooks, Sandra Black Rider (Radford) and Vivian Sitting Eagle (Richard); his uncles, Gerald Sitting Eagle (Laura) and Joe Patrick (Claudia); and his nieces and nephews, Tessie (Tuffy), Crystal, Erica (Blake), Jarrisa (Brett), Lynsey, Cassie, Jessie, Lennie, Sarceena, Jewel, Malika, Shikila, Elton, Anton (Kayla), John (Kirby), Saunders, Jay, Shane, Adrian Jr., Tristan, Moses (Savannah), Eugene, Roman, Dhillion, Onesimus and Pias. He is also survived by other numerous family members and friends.
