He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Arnold Hick and Fernne Ellen Hick (Sherwood Park); and his brother Dale Gordon Hicks of Surrey, BC. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Helen Hick (Sherwood Park); his children, Michael James Hick (Calgary) and Angela Dawn Hick-Ewing (Morinville); his sister Sandra Anne Bleau (Sherwood Park); and his grandchildren, Aaron James Hick, Pierce Edward Hick, Zaphira Avery Dawn Ewing and Aryssa Mara Jade Ewing.
