With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verna Johnston (Sherwood Park, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Verna shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Verna farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Rebecca; and her sons-in-law, Terry and Tim.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Park Place Funeral Home (51 Broadway Blvd, Sherwood Park, AB T8H2C1). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Little Lake Cemetery (915 Haggart St, Peterborough, ON K9J2Y1).
