With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Heistad (Sherwood Park, Alberta), born in Eston, Saskatchewan, who passed away on August 23, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mable Welsh and Erman Welsh; her daughters, Pam Katunar (Fred) and Patty Koop (Len); her grandchildren, Chad, Blaire Katunar, Megan, Kyle, Ryan and Justin; and her great grandchildren, Silas and Jacob Dytiuk. She was also cherished by 5 sisters and 1 brother.
