He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Graeme (Meredith) and Jane; his grandchildren, Max, Bronwen, Harris, Emery and Calvin; his brothers, Brian (Liz) and Colin (Anne); his sister-in-law Sandra (Roland); his parents, Arthur Howard and Ada Howard; and his wife Marion. He was also cherished by numerous extended family and friends.
