He was predeceased by: his wife Lin; his daughter Val; his brothers, Chester, Jerry and Wally; and his parents, John and Alice.
He is survived by: his foster son Bart; and his stepchildren, Amanda (Brian) and Christopher (Miranda). He is also survived by siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
