He was predeceased by: his parents, Eileen Lowther and Francis Lowther; and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his sister Joan Graham of Edberg; his wife Joan; his daughter Faye Lowther (Chris Brookes) of Edmonton; his granddaughter Anne-Marie; his daughter Sandra Bow (Brad); and his grandchildren, Kristal-Dawn and Rylie.
