We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2024, at the age of 83, Peter John Bates (Sherwood Park, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandchild Ashton; and his son Evan. He is survived by: his wife Louise; his sister Joan; his nephew Anthony; his great-nephews, Richard and Edward; his grandchildren, Kinnley, Kolton, Kennedy, Jay-Anne (Evan), Ash (Alex), Rachel, Kate, Abbey, Julie (Lisa), Bennett, Beatrix (Michelle), Kai and Lily (Christine); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Caysee and Kloe.

Peter wished for donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
