He was predeceased by: his daughter Michele Tarnawsky; his parents, Mike Bedyk and Elena Bedyk; and his siblings, Lilly, Mary, John, Mike, Sadie and Peter.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Tracy Wilson (Dean) and Rick Bedyk (Patty); his granddaughters, Mackenzie and Dalanie; and also, Ann Mandrusiak, Bill Bedyk, Lillian Yaremichuk, Eva Salm and Irene Sarver (Larryan).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation or the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
