He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester and Mary; and his brothers, Clarence, Leonard, Stan, Frank and Edward.

He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his daughters, Teresa Magee (Rod), Tamara VanAsperen (Neil) and Cindy Pickering; his granddaughters, Cassaundra, Mikayla VanAsperen, Taryn, Lauren Magee, Rayna and Richelle Pickering; and his brother Gary Selzler (Sandra). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
