He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Karen Timmer (Steve Travis), David van Leenen (Kiersten), Scott van Leenen (Naoko), Johannes van Leenen and Stuart van Leenen (Rufina); and his stepchildren, Brian Keller and Dawne Keller (Kevin Pringle). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
