It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan Hendra (Sherwood Park, Alberta), who passed away at the age of 98, on August 19, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Fred. She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia; her son-in-law Al Blahun; her son Steve; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Hendra; her grandchildren, Brad Hendra (Maxine Hackett), Jeff Blahun (Chantal), Stephanie Ternovatsky (David) and Mike Hendra (Kaela); her great grandchildren, Gabrielle Blahun, Nicolas Blahun, Landon Ternovatsky, Lauchlin Hendra, Dominic Blahun, Logan Ternovatsky, Hayden Hendra, Lucas Ternovatsky and Miles Hendra; and her siblings, England, Fred Drake, Sylvia Pickard (Ray), Margaret McEvoy (Charles) and Olive Johnston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's honour, to the Stollery Children's Hospital, in thanks for the excellent care provided for two of Joan's great grandchildren.
