He was predeceased by: his brother Peter; his brother-in-law George Paetkau; and his grandson Alexander Unrau. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his sons, Keith (Marija) and David; his grandson Thomas (Jenna); his great grandchild William; and his siblings, Erwin (Alice) and Edna Paetkau. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
