He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Kataryna; and his siblings, Murray, Joe, John, Mike, Sylvia and Bonnie.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Sokolan (Dorian) of Sherwood Park and David Sokolan (Donna) of Spruce Grove; his grandchildren, Kashley, Brennan, Gabrielle, Randi and Aron; his great grandchildren, Mason, Weston, Kaya, Kai-Szen, Kei-Yen, Mai-Le, Alexander and Arianna; and his sister Helen.
