With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Else Nikolaj (Sherwood Park, Alberta), who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Friedrich Poth and Elisabetha Poth; and her siblings, Maria, Katharina, Helen and Daniel.
She is survived by: her significant other Waldemar (Wally); her children, Harold (Wendy), Wilfred (Lois) and Mona (Gary); her daughter-in-law Sally (Glen); her grandchildren, Elyse (Tomas), Evan (Laura), Victor (Ashley), Angie (Colin), Lauren (Randy), Spencer and Parker; and her great grandchildren, Sienna, Aubrey, Hudson, Tenley, Dane, Grant, Jase, Carter and Asher. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (10014 81 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E1W8).
