She was predeceased by: her husband Edward; her siblings, Eldon, Eric and Gwen; her brothers-in-law, Milton and Bill; and her parents, Amos Schechtel and Betty Schechtel.

She is survived by: her sons, Darrin (Carla), Norm (Debra) and Kent (Jeanie); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Madison, Laura, Brian, Sydney and Lexi; her great grandchild Stetson; her sisters, Celine, Carol (Jim), Kathy and Brenda (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lou, Elaine and Vince. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the Alberta Cancer Foundation to support the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton.
