He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Scott and Merle Linton; his brother Richard; his brother-in-law Roy Larson; and also England.

He is survived by: his wife Marion Scott (Brown); his daughters, Sandra Schroter (Brad) and Kathy Gillingwater (Richard); his grandchildren, Barbara, Kimberley, David and Michelle; his great grandchildren, Ava, Bentley, Blake, Hadley, Joshua, Nicholas and Abigail; his sister Ken (Nora); and also, Nola, Gary (Wendy) and Dennis (Debbie).

If desired, donations in memory of Dale may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
