He was predeceased by: his mother Edna Rose Needham; his sister Joyce Meyer; his father Charles Lee Westerlund; his stepfather Aubrey "Aub" Needham; his brother George Needham; his pets, Pokey and Ginger; and his grandfather Ken.
He is survived by: his wife Lois; his grandchildren, Noah, Jake, Taylor, Ethan, Brayden, Megan, Connor and Adam; his godson Ken Meyer (Dylan); his brother Bryson Needham; his pet Jack; his close friend Jim Hilchie; and also, Lois, Barrett, Kyle, Ashley and Dayan.
In lieu of flowers or the like, a donation to The Alzheimer's Society of Alberta would honor Ken's memory.
