He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aberdeen and Daisy; his brothers, Rothnie and Alastair; his sister-in-law Sheila; his wife Margaret; and his children, Mairead (Jim), Niall (Charlene), Sinclair (Janet) and Charles Jr. (Monique). He was also cherished by grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, along with his nieces, nephew, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly accepted to the Salvation Army, Edmonton Temple.
