Pam Cole wrote a sympathy message

“Daryl and I wish to pass on our condolences to your family on the loss of Bruce. Although we only occasionally saw Bruce in the last few years, we remember him well. He was one of a kind. During the heydays of Fish and Wildlife, he was a strong voice for the resource. His outspoken manner and especially his humor will remain in our fond memories. As a strong person, he also had a strong family and we hope that time is kind to you all. Daryl and Pam Cole”
