We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Barend Wissink of Sherwood Park, Alberta. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Barend's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, Mike (Stephanie), John (Jaime) and Brian (Richelle); and his sisters, Anne Kreiner, Aaltje Fokema (John), Jane Johnson (Ray) and Erica Every (Clayton). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
