She was predeceased by: her siblings, Nestor and Naty; and her child Mel Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Meliza (Bobby), Mary Ann (Ed), Marilou (Roman) and Melinda (Dennis); her grandchildren, Romel (Jana), Ryan, Samantha, Cory, Erika and Quentin; her great grandchildren, Evie and Emi; and her brother Oscar. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
