She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bristow and Anna Bristow. She is survived by: her husband Merle; her children, Lee George (Connie), Kurt George (Ingrid) and Elaine Hucal (Danny); her grandchildren, Kim Bucholtz (Ryan), Jen Kreiner (Blair), Rob Ruys (Carla), Katherine Clark-George, Stephanie Hallett (Beck), Courtney Jasper, Katrina Russell (Andrew), Nathan George, Rachelle Hucal (Erick) and Dexter Hucal; and her cousins, Donald and George Kjenner. She is also survived by brothers with mom's family until they completed school, and many other extended family, friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of one's choice.
