It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julius Urban of Shaughnessy, Alberta, who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elek Urban and Emma Urban; his siblings, Alec and Irene; and his niece Terry Hadford of Maple Ridge, B. C..

He is survived by: his wife Lorna Urban; his sisters, Victoria Sander of Lethbridge and Anne Hadford of Calgary; his niece Leanne Warner (Darryl) of Calgary; his nephew Gary Coleman of Red Deer; and his brothers-in-law, Barry Coleman, Winnipeg, Clare Coleman and Sherwood Park.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine's Catholic Church (762 Crescent Ave, Picture Butte, AB T0K1V0).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Lethbridge, 1202 2 Ave S #40, Lethbridge, AB T1J 0E3; or Stars Foundation, 1441 Aviation Park, NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 8M7.
