We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2023, at the age of 90, Homer Barkman (Seven Persons, Alberta) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Homer Barkman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Barkman and Eva Barkman; his wife Helen Unger; his grandson Derek Kehler; and his daughter Eva Grace.

He is survived by: his foster sister Luella; his children, Dianne Kottke (Armin), Len Barkman (Jan), Sharon Kehler (Del), Randy Barkman (Viola), Lorna Martens (Rudy), Darlene Sawatzky (Bruce), Gerald Barkman (Trudy) and Michelle Lutz (Brad); his brother George (Martha); and his foster sisters, Della Unger (Wilbert) and Alvina. He is also survived by 3 sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.

The last few years we could see how dementia and Alzheimer was sadly taking control of his mind & body.
