He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Rose and Peggy Rose; his wife Lorraine Kortgaard; his daughter Penelope; his son-in-law John Leslie; his mother-in-law Eileen; and his brother-in-law Milton McMahon.

He is survived by: his children, Pat Leslie, Penny Watkins (Fred) and Bill Rose (Cindy); his grandchildren, Erin Dowell (Greg), Clark Leslie (Ashley), Adam Watkins, Katie Freadrich (Jeff), Brant Rose (Marlaina) and Taylor Rose (Richelle); his great grandchildren, Alex, Kate Dowell, Kohen, Gavin, Brielle, Nate Leslie, Hayden, Luke Freadrich and Harper Rose; his sister Peggy McMahon; and his sister-in-law Vivian Kortgaard.

Memorial donations in memory of Norm can be made to the Sedgewick Cemetery, Hardisty Health Care Centre (LTC) or to the charity of the donor's choice.
