He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Steadman and Minnie Steadman; and his siblings, Henry, Ernie, John and Minnie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Nancy Sawka (Randall), Janet Hope (Graham) and Donald Steadman; his granddaughters, Michelle (Sean) and Crystal (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Nolan, Rebecca, Lilah and Alex.
