It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Sophia Oakes (Sedgewick, Alberta), who passed away on September 23, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; and her sisters, Audrey, Muriel and Shirley. She is survived by: her children, Marlene (Carl), Carter (Betty), David (Dawn) and Faye (Chuck). She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the Jarrow Cemetery Fund or to the charity of one's choice.
